We are a community embraced by the mystery of God’s love for all creation.

As followers of Jesus, we are a Reconciling in Christ congregation, seeking to recognize Christ in every face. We are committed to racial equity and to being a welcoming, affirming, and advocating presence for people of every sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, physical and mental ability, economic circumstance, culture, ethnicity, background, and faith perspective. Within this vibrant community, we nurture deep relationships and meaningful experiences as we live into faith and face the issues of our time.

Together, we strive to live with loving hearts, open minds, and hands extended to all.

  • Music Programming

    You are welcome to participate in our music program whether or not you are a member of OSLC. Two of our continuous rehearsals are:

    OSLC Choir :Rehearsals on Sundays, 10:40 am- 12:00 pm (Sanctuary)

    Bellissimo (Handbell Choir): Rehearsals on Mondays, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. (Sanctuary)

Our Ministry Partners

We believe ministry is something we do together. As a congregation, we are connected to a wide and growing network of organizations, congregations, schools, and community groups who are working to care for our neighbors, seek justice, build community, and make the world a more compassionate place.

Some of our ministry partners are right here in Lafayette and the Lamorinda community. Others connect us with neighbors throughout the Bay Area, across the country, and around the world. Through these relationships, members of Our Savior’s Lutheran Church have opportunities to serve, learn, advocate, give, and build meaningful relationships beyond our congregation.

These partnerships take many forms. Sometimes we provide financial support or needed supplies. Sometimes we volunteer together, welcome partners into our building, participate in community events, or advocate alongside one another. And sometimes the most important gift is simply the relationship itself: listening to one another, learning from our neighbors, and discovering new ways to join God's work in the world.

We are grateful for every opportunity to walk this path together.
