Volunteers Make Our Program Work!

Our VBS relies upon volunteers to create a loving and fun environment for our kids.  We have opportunities for you no matter what your schedule or experience.  From leaders of activity areas and age groups, to helpers for one day, to help with set-up or clean-up, we value you and your gifts.  Click here to go to our registration page.  You will see the volunteer button directly underneath the student registration button.
Our Local and Global Missions

Each year we select two mission partners, one local and one global, to learn about and support during our VBS week.  This year, we are supporting the Monument Crisis Center, a Concord organization providing food to families in the Monument Corridor, and MayaCREW, supporting children’s education in  Chichicastenango, Guatemala.
What will the kids do all week?

Each day, we will focus on a different thing that God’s people do and a Bible story that related to it.  We started with “We Share”, and experience the story of Boaz and Ruth.  We continue throughout the week with “We Give” and the story of Elisha, “We Grow” and the Jesus’ Parable of the Mustard Seed, “We Love” and the story of Jesus as the Vine, and “We Praise” and the story of Jesus entering Jerusalem on Palm Sunday.

But the kids won’t just listen to the story, they’ll live it.  Each day they will play games, sing songs, enjoy enriching crafts, hear and act out the story in storytelling, do experiments in science, and spend time together with their small groups.  Together, these activities will help them to really feel the story.  We hope that these stories will stay with them throughout their lives.
